The German Sea Kayak Week
The German Sea Kayak Week (Sea Kayak Symposium) is the major annual event of the Salzwasser Union calendar, and many members participate. The meet has been run annually since the middle of the 90’s.
In addition to a number of sea kayak tours that are on offer, there are workshops on many diverse topics of interest to the sea kayaker, including paddle workshops, technical workshops, training sessions, and ecology. There are also cultural activities which vary according to venue.

Sea Kayak Week 2011
Sea Kayak Week 2011 – 5 August to 13 August 2011
This year the German Sea Kayak Week will take place on the Baltic Coast near Wismar. The planned range of activities running up to 13 August will be centred on or from the camping ground which is a short distance from the town. A copy of the outline plan will be published in the new year.
The Week is being organised by Graham Butt.
Details of individual events and presentations are still being worked out, and any changes to the programme will be published from time to time.
Details of the town of Wismar and the surrounding area will be published later.
It is hoped both Instructors and Guides will offer their services to guide paddlers and to offer courses, etc on this, our 26th anniversary sea kayak week.
Further information and amendments to the organisation and programme of events will be published from time to time on the Internet.
