Those who show an interest in the sea kayaking, will at some time or other, wish to paddle on the open sea. In order to find out whether this wet, cold, windy, and sandy pleasure is really “your thing,” the Salzwasser Union offers simple day tours in reasonably sheltered waters. These tours are offered to those who already have a basic knowledge of paddle strokes, and have the appropriate clothing in which to swim in the event of a capsize. Kayaks are to be fitted out in accordance with the Salzwasser Union rules. (Participation on such a tour is only offered to members of the Salzwasser Union)
